Barleycorn brand Originals is a blend of American rock that originated in the early seventies and took on characteristics in an 80s and 90s that would lead to its completion. John Jay Barleycorn (who's so realistic naturalistic pen and ink and watercolor drawings adoring the cover and the disc graphics) releases an almost timeless form of Americana that mixes realization with down-to-earth honesty. The combination reveals a spiritual side to what many may consider “Street values”

BARLEY-CORN BRAND: THE STORY
How They Got Here
In the later part of the 1980s John met Bill Bergman (saxophone player) for the Jack Mack and the heart attack band Bill wanted to produce and John had some ideas. The music for all songs except for “number 9 white lady Blues” is produced by Bergman from John's description. Bill also plays horns along with Lester Lovett: John Paruolo and Andrew Kastner also contribute John thanks to all the Mack members who contributed. Great solos and accomplishments prevail with such other find musicians as Greg Beck, Randy Norris, Mark Warner and Greg Arreguin, (guitars) Patty Hood (concert harp) Jet Redd (drums) and Jimmy Powers (harmonica)
